Improving the potential for your body to take in and use oxygen has huge benefits not only to your athletic abilities but your general health and well being. That is exactly what this programme does.
Coach Antony used this programme, in addition to other training, to build his aerobic base in preparation for multiple endurance feats including his 50km bike, 50km run, 50km bike.
Bike capacity is written for you to complete on any bike that measures watts and your first day will consist of a 20 minute test to measure your current abilities. All of the following sessions will use percentages of that result.
Each week is comprised of three sessions that will take up to 60 minutes to complete, including a warm up and cool down, and we recommend that you split these sessions across the week, for example (Monday - Wednesday - Friday).
If you are in the functional fitness space and your weakness is your ‘engine’ or you just want to improve your aerobic capacity then this programme is for you.
